The Perth Swing Dance Society (PSDS) is a non-profit organisation, committed to actively promoting swing dancing, its music and culture in Western Australia.
To help support Plastic Free July this Late Nite is going to start with a special post-Mustang potluck feast. Good food, good company and good dancing on a cosy July evening, sounds blissful right?
How it works:
We invite you to bring a dish (ideally finger food or snack-like) to share, along with all of the packaging that comes with the food you buy. Entry for people bringing a plate is $5. If you can’t bring food you’re still welcome of course, we’ll provide a bit of extra food and entry is $10.
The Potluck is designed to be a conversation starter about how much plastic we use on a daily basis and what (if any) alternatives there are. It’s not a competition, but a chance to share good food and ideas on how to reduce our single-use plastic usage. We’ll also be sharing some tips on good plastic free options in the lead up to the event to give you some inspiration.
Royal Park Hall will be available for you to drop your food off at from 8 pm (you’re also able to use the kitchen at this time if you need), however, it’s also totally fine if you bring the food post-Mustang. Doors for the Late Nite officially open from 9 pm.
